Planting
There are many ways to plant and have the planting be a success! From bare root to potted planting there is a lot to learn and try.
Plant Establishment
All waterwise and native plants take a significant amount of water to get started. This can take anywhere between one to two years. However, once your plants are established, they will require little to no irrigated water.
Natural Herbicides
The alternative weed-control products contain oils (clove oil, eugenol, and d-limonene), soaps (pelargonic acid), acids (acetic, citric) or iron compounds (chelates). All of them function in essentially the same way: they destroy the leaf cuticle and the integrity of leaf cells, causing cell leakage that can lead to rapid leaf death. These are often referred to as “burn-down herbicides.
