Providing consultation, resources & guidance towards waterwise landscaping through on-site evaluations.
If your water bills come from Eagle River Water and Sanitation District (ERWSD) or Upper Eagle River Water Authority boundary (UERWA) you qualify for ERWSD's rebate program, not the Beyond Lawn Program.
Not sure where you reside? See the map below for reference.
Request a site visit through the ERWSD website. It’s important that they get a clear picture of your existing landscaping conditions, answer any questions, and make recommendations as needed prior to applying for a rebate. (In some cases, high-quality photos may be sufficient instead of a site visit).
If your water bills do not come from ERWSD boundaries and you wish to qualify for a Beyond Lawn rebate, you must request a Landscape and Irrigation Evaluation.
The Evaluation is $100 and will gather data and observations on how landscaping is currently being watered, flag potential irrigation inefficiencies, estimate the water and cost savings potential, and make recommendations as to projects/actions that can achieve the homeowner's water-saving goals.
Evaluations are closed for this year. They will restart in May of 2025, click the button below to join the waitlist. Please include your name and address!
Absolutely! You can begin planning right away without needing an evaluation. The evaluation is for qualifying for the rebate. If you don't require the rebate or simply want to get started, we offer a wealth of educational materials for you to explore. Click the button below to start learning more about turf transformations!
REALFire is a wildfire risk reduction program that provides all of Eagle County with an opportunity to take action on their property. The program provides free property assessments to educate residents on how their home and landscaping may be susceptible to wildfire and specific ways to reduce wildfire threat.
Please reach us at eaglecountycd@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No, we require that anyone who wants to qualify for the rebate must have a landscape and irrigation evalutation done prior to ripping out one's lawn or planting any new landscapes.
We offer DIY Landscape Conversion and Rain Barrel workshops throughout the year! Please keep an eye on our events page for updates on workshop dates and locations. Beyond Lawn also has a DIY Landscape Conversion Step-By-Step Guide available.
